How It Works
Step 1: Get in Touch
Tell me a little about your family and any ideas you have in mind. I’ll help you think through the best timing, location, and overall approach, and I’m always happy to answer questions along the way.
Step 2: Your Portrait Session
On the day, I’ll keep things calm and easy. I’ll guide your family naturally when needed, but the goal is never stiff posing, just photographs that feel relaxed, real, and true to you.
Step 3: Your Gallery
Within a few days, you’ll receive a private gallery where you can view, share, and order your photographs. Prints and albums are available for the photographs you want to live with long after the session.
FAQs

Most family sessions last about an hour, with more time built in for larger groups or extended families. We’ll decide on the right plan based on who will be there and what you have in mind.
-
Sessions can take place at a park, a lakeside, your home, or anywhere that feels meaningful to your family. If you’d like suggestions, I know many beautiful locations throughout Scranton, the Poconos, and Northeast Pennsylvania.

Something comfortable and coordinated usually works best. I’ll send simple guidance before your session, and if you’d like a second opinion, I’m always happy to help. I spent years working in fashion before photography, so this is familiar territory.
-
Usually within a few days of your session, delivered through a private online gallery.

When my schedule allows, yes. I’ve photographed sessions with less than a day’s notice. Reach out and I’ll let you know what’s available.
-
Absolutely. Couples sessions, anniversary portraits, and other milestone sessions are all part of what I do.
-
That’s completely normal, and I never expect kids to perform on cue. The session stays relaxed, with plenty of room for movement, breaks, and real interaction. My job is to guide gently and make space for natural moments, not force anything.

Late afternoon or early evening is often the most flattering, especially outdoors, but the best timing depends on the season, the location, and your family’s schedule. I’m happy to help you choose what makes the most sense.
